Chain Link Fencing
Many home owners turn to wooden fencing because of it's decorative appeal. However, in many cases, it may be a better option to consider chain link fencing - here's why..
Chain link fencing is a much securer way of enclosing a property. Whilst many wooden fences have the added privacy given the fact that there are little to no gaps in the panels, they are not best suited for security purposes, as contrary to belief, chain link fencing can be more difficult to climb in some cases and also fairly resistant to vandalism.
Chain link fencing can also be made much higher than wooden fencing which would act as a deterrent for many would-be climbers. Asides from the obvious security benefits of chain link fencing, the installation and maintenance of chain link fencing is extremely simple compared to other types of fencing.
What is more, they are highly adaptive and durable, there is no need to worry anymore about termites or rotting and due to the fact they can be put up within a matter of hours as opposed to days, chain link fencing can also taken down just as easily, therefore, this type of fencing can also be used for temporary applications, as in protecting a construction site.
Chain link fencing is also highly resistant to weather conditions, with a slim chance of being blown down in high winds. Also, for the property-owner who is particularly opposed to the industrial look may opt for adding tall shrubbery and/or trees along the perimeter of the fence.
This look is proving to be successful in suburban areas where it is unsightly to have chain link fencing and due to this reason, there is now a special type of chain link fencing developed for that very purpose which is coloured green.
This works tremendously if the greenery is planted very close to the fence and is something like spruce trees or hedging in which the chain link is completely indistinguishable as it is completely camouflaged which easily removes the issue of it’s less than desirable look on the landscape.
For this reason, chain link fencing is now not just limited to industrial areas or for reasons of security but is now being adapted into people’s gardens, parks, schools, and colleges and on other more "people-friendly" atmospheres.
If you need a fencing that is secure, easily constructed, resistant to vandalism, weathering, bad weather conditions or something temporary, these are the benefits of chain link fencing.
